Halloween
Before I start this post, let me preface it with this: I have been busy playing with film photography (a future post in the making), hence why I haven’t uploaded some Halloween photos until a little less than a month after the event. Now: let’s get started.
Spooky…
To me, October 31st is special, spooky, but most of all spectacular. At what other time of the year does everyone get to pretend to be someone they are not? Whether that mean being something well-known like a ghost, or orchestrating an entire group in a Wizard of Oz themed costume match, the shots are fun. Well, I hear you asking, what did I dress as for Halloween? I was Flavor Flav. Mostly because of the ease of running around with a camera and a clock around my neck rather than something more complex, but also because who doesn’t want Flavor Flav to photograph them?
The Pics
Okay. I’ll be blunt, I’m writing this pretty late at night and I’m not sure if I have the mental capacity to write much right now. So I’ll just throw the images and some captions and call it a day.
Ghasp!
I really like how much tonality I was able to capture on her face, especially considering light conditions were pretty horrible.
The three sides…
Now I am almost certain there is a famous painting that looks just like this, but for the life of me I cannot remember its name!
Ghasp?
Something about her teeth…I really feel like they aren’t supposed to be able to move like that. To each their own I guess?
Yawn
We all get tired, but most of the time a photographer isn’t walking by with a flash, a diffuser, and a camera. Unluckily for this person, I was.
Cow eating cow eating cow…
If you like loops, you should also read my other recent post autology!
Boo! Ahh!
These ghosts asked me to take their picture, but I quickly found the more interesting shot wasn’t the ghosts, but rather the wind.
Wow!
I can’t imagine how much work it must’ve been to get this group together. Plainly, I am impressed.
Conclusions
As I mentioned above, I’m probably going to bed after this. Hope it was a fun read, or at least a cool watch. Anyways, goodnight?
Have a great night,
